"How we enabled cultural exchange with music"

Client:

PLS Middle East

Location:

World Trade Center Dubai

Production Period:

15 - 17 October 2019

Scope:

Product Presentation & Entertainment

In 2019, we launched our first show in Dubai. We were commissioned by a major entertainment-technology fair to design a 500 sqm experience room that blended technological innovation with regional tradition. Visitors from more than 50 countries—primarily from the UAE and across Africa—took part in a music program that fused Arabic musical elements with contemporary electronic performance.

We brought the concept to life through workshops, hands-on stations, and live showcases, shifting the experience from passive viewing to active participation. To help tell the story beyond the event, we also produced a teaser shoot on a yacht in front of Dubai's skyline, turning the on-site energy into shareable content.

A defining milestone for us was receiving official permission from the organizers for a 10-year-old DJ to perform live on stage. It was the first time in the history of the Dubai World Trade Centre that a child was allowed to perform in this context—showing how music can connect across age, culture, and background.
